Luther Heights Catering

Full professional catering is available at all three camp venues.

With Luther Heights Catering, all meals will be provided freshly by our professional catering staff for the duration of your stay.
If you wish to have a meal away from the campsite, we can arrange for a packed lunch to be provided.
Meals for Mountain View and Sunrise Lodge are provided in the shared refectory. Menus will vary as appropriate for the general age group of your campers and in line with seasonal availability and suitability. A sample menu for your event will be provided if requested.
If any members of your group have special dietary needs, please note them on the Catering Order Form and ensure that the people concerned are made known to the catering staff for each meal.
Special menu requests, three-course meals, birthday cakes and other specialities are available by negotiation.
Morning tea, afternoon tea and supper are included in the catering price when they occur between your group’s first and last meals. If you require any of these prior to your first meal an additional charge will apply.

Volunteer Catering

We appreciate that some groups may wish to use their own voluntary caterers. Groups may apply to use volunteer cooks at Cross Ridge camp only, subject to the following conditions:

Each application will be considered on its own merits, and approvals will be subject to internal operational requirements.
Some items of specialised kitchen equipment may be reserved for Luther Heights catering use and may not be available to volunteer cooks.
The cooks must operate in a volunteer capacity. The hiring of commercial caterers is not permitted.
The person supervising the catering must possess a Food Safety Supervisor qualification unless a valid exemption can be claimed under the Queensland Food Act 2006.
Good hygiene must be maintained in food preparation and handling. All kitchen clean-up routines must be followed.
Your group must accept responsibility for ensuring that the kitchen and wash-up area floors are kept clean and dry at all times.
Please note that higher accommodation charges (to assist with kitchen costs) and additional responsibilities apply if you use volunteer cooks.
